To prevent bovine spongiform encephalopathy (BSE) transmitted through drugs in clinical trial, State Drug Administration has issued provisions about the control of imported bovine Drugs and using of bovine materials in drugs and biological products. July 10, 2002, State Drug Administration notified new action steps designed to further ensure safety of bovine relevant drug use in clinical trial.
This notification reported that as of the end of April, 2002, BSE countries included: Netherlands, Denmark, German, Belgium, Luxemburg, Britain, Italy, Japan, etc. in addition, if there are other countries announced as BSE countries, this list will update automatically. |
